Pilgrimage Opportunity

  • Solanus Casey Center 1780 Mount Elliott Street Detroit, MI, 48207 (map)

Gesu & St. Pius Parishes invite you to embark on a special pilgrimage to the Solanus Casey Center in Detroit on Saturday, June 6, where you can learn, pray, and experience the inspiring life of Blessed Solanus Casey, a Capuchin Franciscan priest who lived and worked there.

We will provide a bus for up to 56 participants to visit this sacred site. The visit will include:

  • Docent-led tour of the Center

  • Box lunch included

  • Gift shop visit

  • Personal prayer and prayer at the tomb of Blessed Solanus Casey

  • Opportunity for private Mass and confessions (details to be finalized)

The bus departs from Gesu at 8:00 a.m. and returns at 3:00 p.m. — so you'll be home for dinner and other weekend activities.
